Sunday night we accidentally left our garage door open. I didn’t realize it until early Monday morning when I went to go to the gym, opened the door to the garage, and my car was gone. We usually keep our keys in the car in the garage but of course, we usually put the garage door down. My husband just happened to take his key fob in the house with him Sunday night and although they looked through his car, they obviously didn’t find his key or take anything.

Birthday Weekend
Happy October! One of my favorite months is finally here and with my birthday falling on October 1st it’s a great way to start the month. First of all, I want to say THANK YOU for all your sweet messages, texts, and birthday wishes. You sure know how to make a girl feel loved.

Total Solar Eclipse
It’s no secret that the eclipse happened this past Monday and we happened to be lucky enough to live in the path of totality. My mother-in-law, brother-in-law, and niece came over at the last minute and we got to experience the event with them.

I’m back! Complete with a new name and all. First of all, THANK YOU to those of you who reached out about the new name and blog layout. The decision to rebrand doesn’t come lightly and it certainly isn’t easy switching domains, social media handles, not to mention figuring out html and re-directing issues. Despite all that, it is so worth it and I’m in love with the easier to read layout and a brand that will hopefully fit me better.

Weekend Recap & Life Lately
Since returning home from Denver last Tuesday I’ve been soaking up as much time as possible with the kids. Memorial Day kicked off summer and we jumped right into all the summer things including 3 trips to the new snow cone hut within the last week.
