A few weeks ago we went to see Sesame Street Live. Ben got tickets for his birthday from my parents and if you read this post you know it’s not our first time to see the gang. The best part about this show? Not having to travel 3+ hours to see it. The show was great, the music was cute, and Ben left with a huge smile. Anxiously awaiting the start of the show. Don’t mind that Ben and J are in almost identical shirts. Ben is seriously his twin.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Ben!
Today my baby is 3. I am tearing up just writing that. Time goes by so so fast. Everybody says it, but it’s so true. Each year that passes my baby is able to do more and more. He is becoming fiercely independent. He says mom and dad instead of mommy and daddy. I’m happy and sad all at the same time. Sad that my baby is growing up, but happy at the boy he is becoming. Yo Gaba Gaba Live
When I heard Yo Gaba Gaba Live was coming to St. Louis I knew we had to get tickets since Ben is obsessed with the show. More than obsessed actually. We fit as many things we could into our day in St. Louis including our trip to the City Museum. After the museum we headed over to the arena for the show and despite playing his little heart out earlier, Ben was ready to see his favorite characters. Another Birthday Celebration: 2 Year Old Style
J wasn’t the only one lately who celebrated a birthday. My cute little niece turned the big 0-2 and we celebrated with a pool party and then BBQ and bounce house at my parent’s. At one point in the night everything was really quiet. Too quiet.
