1. What are your middle names?

Lee and Allison

For generations after generations all of the men and a few women on J’s dad’s side of the family all have Lee as their middle name. We decided to carry on that tradition with Ben as well.

2. How long have you been together?

2007

3. How long did you know each other before you started dating?

A few months

4. Who asked who out?

He asked me out.

5. How old are each of you?

J is 29 and I’m 24(almost 25)

6. Did you go to the same school?

We went to the same university but not at the same time since he’s older.

7. Are you from the same home town?

No, about an hour away from each other 

8. Who is the smartest?

J knows lots of random things and a lot about politics, but I would say I’m pretty smart too. We definitely compliment each other nicely. He is great at math, science, and history and I’m better with English, writing, and most certainly spelling.

9. Who majored in what?

J has a degree in engineering and minors in math and history. He is currently working on his Masters in Engineering.

I have a bachelors degree in Social Work and a bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I also finished my Masters of Social Work in May.

10. Who is the most sensitive?

Definitely me. I cry at the drop of a hat and J always tells me I’m too sensitive. 

11. Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple?

We’ve literally traveled coast to coast. San Francisco to New York. 

12. Who has the worst temper?

J, but I’m a pouter.

13. How many children do you want?

Probably one more so that Ben can have a sibling. J and I both have a sibling (he has a younger brother and I have an older sister) and we agree we want Ben to experience that. 

14. Who does the cooking?

I do.

15. Who is more social?

Definitely me. J likes hanging around his own friends and people he knows, but he is more shy when it comes to functions and people he doesn’t know.

16. Who is the neat freak?

Neither of us are OCD about things but we do love a clean house. This is probably the one area that we are the most balanced in.

17. Who is the most stubborn?

I would say J, but he would probably say me-let’s just say we agree to disagree.:)

18. Who wakes up earlier?

Definitely me. J loves his sleep.

19. Where was your first date?

A local restaurant in our downtown.

20. Who has the bigger family?

J. And I love it. There is always family around and they get together often.

21. Do you get flowers often?

Not often, but more than I used to. I usually get flowers for my birthday, Valentine’s Day, and Mothers Day.

22. How do you spend the holidays?

We’re lucky our families live really close so we split the holidays 50/50. It ends up working out great because it’s like we get two of everything. Who wouldn’t want two Thanksgivings?!? 

23. Who is more jealous?

Neither of us really. 

24. How long did it take to get serious?

There wasn’t a specific amount of time it just kinda happened gradually.

25. Who eats more?

J. Not only does he eat more, but he can eat pretty much whatever he wants without his waistline expanding. 

26. What do you do for a living?

J owns his own business.

I just accepted a position as a Child Developmentalist working with children with autism. A lot of the job involves behavior analysis and I am in the process of getting my BCBA and becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. 

27. Who does the laundry?

Me.

28. Who’s better with the computer?

J, hands down. When he was little, his dad and him even built one.

29. Who drives when you are together?

Usually, J.
