Happy June! This was the first weekend in forever that we’ve been home with NOTHING to do and it was glorious. Friday afternoon I picked up a few things from Sam’s Club including their take and bake pizza. While it cooked, a miracle occurred and the boys put together a Lego set without fighting. After a quick dinner we went to the pool for the first time this season. One of our neighbors bought this slide for the kids and of course it was a huge hit. We wrapped up the night with snow cones-pink lemonade for me, grape for J, and the usual blue raspberry for the boys.Saturday morning we all slept in until almost nine and then had our usual Saturday morning donuts. The forecast called for storms which never came so we headed back to the pool for the day. For dinner I made ribs and parmesan green beans with my little helper.Sunday was filled with lots of cleaning and lots of complaining about cleaning from the boys 🙂 In the afternoon we went swimming at my sister’s pool followed by hamburgers and corn on the cob for dinner. I finished reading The Kind Worth Killing which I rated 4/5 stars on Goodreads.
