Weekend Edition! Since today is the last day before the weekend, I figured I’d better update you and recap what we did LAST weekend.
One.
Friday night Ben and I attended our first, and the last of the season, movie in the park. Jack stayed home with J so it was just Ben and I. Ben told me he would take me on a date and also let me know he didn’t want to drive. Good thing I felt like it. He loved all the one on one attention and I got to remember what it was like with just one kid. I can’t believe I ever complained about how hard it was with just one.

Two.
Just a little grocery shopping on a Saturday morning. Doesn’t he look angelic? Look being the key word.
Three.
After getting groceries we went to a local safety fair where Ben got to go inside a helicopter, fire truck, and ambulance.
Four.
The fair was followed up by lunch with my niece, MIL, and Jack’s cheesy, gummy grins.
Five.
I was browsing Pinterest maybe looking at Christmas ideas. Don’t judge. I came across this Elf on the Shelf idea and literally laughed out loud. The adult in me loved this and the mom in me was appalled.

Jack is so adorable! And he does look angelic. But I have an almost 3 year old, I totally get the "look" part of it. 🙂
