    The End of Summer

Yet another Summer has come and gone. This Summer seemed to go by particularly fast and I think this little guy had a lot to do with that. Even with having a newborn we managed to do a lot this Summer. This past week and over Labor Day weekend we tried to make the most of the last bit of Summer. A friends pool party and birthday snow cones. We finally tried out a new shaved ice stand. One last swim at our local beach club.  Lots of time with family. We also booked our family trip for next Summer. Next June our whole family, including my sister and parents,…

    Labor Day Thru Instagram

Friday Night Pizza. We checked out one of our favorite pizza places that opened up a new location. Playing trains at Barnes & Noble after a much needed haircut. No trip to the mall is complete without a ride on the merry-go-round. Love him! Remnants of hurricane Isaac meant lots of rain and new rain boots. A Saturday night movie at home. Outfit of the Day Sunday night my parents, sister and her family came over for bbq and an intense game of Yatzee. There might have been spiked lemonade and margaritas involved as well. One final swim of the season. Hope you all had a good Labor Day!

I also picked up a few of these. The silk ruffles are hard to see in the picture but so pretty in person. On Saturday we managed…

    Labor Day Weekend Recap

If only all weekends could be 3 days. Our Labor Day was filled with lots of family time and relaxing. Ben decided he was too big to sit in his highchair and that he needed to sit at the grown up table. We also blew up some balloons which provided at least a good hour’s worth of entertainment. Ben thought it was hysterical when we blew up the balloon and let it go. And yes, I know balloons are dangerous and kids can swallow them, but we were right there with him the whole time. And just when a one year old thinks there couldn’t be anything more exciting than…
